This is a group for those who want to frighten, disturb, and gross out their readers. Dark, depressing, gory, terrifying, and thought-provoking content is welcome here. If you have been hesitant to show your work to your other writing groups because you think it would freak them out, try this group. Fiction, non-fiction, novels, shorts, poetry, and flash is accepted--this is more about appreciation for the genre than a specific type of form here.

Admissions Policies

Don't glorify murder, rape, child, or animal abuse. Don't glorify racism, sexism, homophobia. Having these subjects in a work can be tools (because they are horrible) in this genre, but if you come across as condoning such things you will be asked to leave.
