Young Adult Fiction Critiques, with Linda Camacho

October 22nd, 2018 - November 14th, 2018

with Linda Camacho

Group started
Get feedback on your first 15 pages with literary agent Linda Camacho of Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency. How it works: Submit your first pages to the group on October 22nd, when the group officially kicks off. Then, there is a two-week period where you and your group members will exchange feedback on one another's work. Linda will post her critiques at the end of this time. After the critiques, there will be a 2-hour call/web meeting, where each writer gets time with Linda to address key feedback themes and discuss both manuscript and writing questions.

Inked Voices & Linda Camacho are pleased to offer a place in the workshop, free of cost, to a diverse writer or to a writer of an #ownvoices work. Apply: https://inkedvoices.typeform.com/to/ECyJzk

About Linda Camacho

Linda was always a fan of escaping into a good book, so the fact that she gets to make it her career is still surreal. She graduated from Cornell with a B.S. in Communication and has seen many sides of the industry. She’s held various positions at Penguin Random House, Dorchester, Simon and Schuster, and Writers House literary agency until she ventured into agenting at Prospect. She's done everything from foreign rights to editorial to marketing to operations, so it was amazing to see how all the departments worked together to bring books to life. Somewhere in between all that (and little sleep), Linda received her MFA in creative writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Now at Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency, Linda continues to work with colleagues and clients who inspire her every day in both the children’s and adult categories.
