Picture Books, with Jennifer March Soloway

September 7th, 2019 - October 2nd, 2019

with Jennifer March Soloway

Group started
Preparing your picture book or easy reader manuscript for submission? Get your manuscript critiqued by literary agent Jennifer March Soloway of Andrea Brown Literary Agency. You'll also meet other serious kidlit writers, sharpen your eye by giving feedback and receive the benefits of workshopping with a group - like meeting other writers, and learning by exchanging feedback. How it works: Submit your manuscript to the group when the group officially kicks off on September 7th. Then, group members have 2.5 weeks to exchange feedback on one another's work. Jennifer will post her critiques towards the end of that time. After critiques are complete, Jennifer will host a debrief call where each writer gets individual time with her to address key feedback themes and discuss both manuscript and writing questions.

Jennifer March Soloway and Inked Voices are pleased to offer a spot, free of charge, to a writer from a diverse background. Apply: https://inkedvoices.typeform.com/to/IZBN09

About Jennifer March Soloway

Jennifer March Soloway is an associate agent with the Andrea Brown Literary Agency. She represents authors and illustrators of picture book, middle grade, and young adult stories. She enjoys all genres and categories, such as laugh-out-loud picture books and middle-grade adventures, but her sweet spot is young adult. A suspense junkie, she adores action-packed thrillers and mysteries. Throw in a dash of romance, and she’s hooked! But as much as she loves a good thriller, she finds her favorite novels are literary stories about ordinary teens focused on family, relationships, sexuality, mental illness, or addiction. Regardless of genre, she is actively seeking fresh new voices and perspectives underrepresented in literature. Jennifer is actively building her client list and welcomes queries to soloway@andreabrownlit.com. To learn more about Jennifer, follow her on Twitter, @marchsoloway, and find her full wish list at www.andreabrownlit.com.
