This is the registration for the class PLUS a critique for Jennifer Torres' November class "Charting a Course in Chapter Books." To register for the class only, go to https://www.inkedvoices.com/lecture-series/.

Participants may submit their first 3000 words of their chapter book for critique. Jennifer will read your pages and offer feedback on character and voice, plot and pacing, and reading level— and will do her best to address any specific questions you might have about your manuscript. Pages may be submitted anytime between November 9 and November 16. Critiques will be at least 350 words in length, and will be returned within four weeks of submission. Peer critiques are optional, but encouraged in this group.

About Brooke McIntyre

Jennifer Torres is the author of Stef Soto, Taco Queen, and other books for young readers including two chapter book series: Catalina Incognito (Aladdin, March 2022) and Twins vs. Triplets (HarperChapters). She writes stories about home, friendship,and unexpected courage inspired by her Mexican American heritage. Jennifer started her career as a newspaper reporter, and even though she writes fiction now, she hopes her stories still have some truth in them. Jennifer lives with her family in Southern California.
