Because readers make better writers, this book club will read some of the more recent award winners and successful middle grade novels, culminating in a monthly group meeting via Google Meet to discuss content, why the novel works, how it breaks the rules (if it does), and how it impacts the reader.

Once the group is established, a different group member will select the next novel and facilitate the discussion during the subsequent month.

To get things started, I suggest we start with We Dream of Space by Erin Entrada Kelly, and plan to meet virtually the last week in January. Specific details to follow mid-January.
