Up to 6 members will exchange the first pages/chapters (up to 3,750 words) of a chapter book or middle grade book. This can be a completed manuscript or a work-in-progress. We will have three weeks to give each other thoughtful and helpful feedback, then we'll finish with a debrief call (TBD) to answer any last minute questions and do a general wrap-up of the group before it closes on April 3rd.

Admissions Policies

Have a CB or MG manuscript in progress or completed and be willing to critique 5 other members' manuscripts. Dedicate at least one hour per critique.

Willingness to provide thoughtful feedback and constructive criticism to help one another strengthen our work. There are helpful critique guides under the Resources tab at the top of the page. Please consider reviewing these prior to critiquing to help us all get the most out of the group.
