Our goal is to create a small, intimate group in which members write one poem each week for what remains of 2024.

This is a group for those seeking to improve their craft  through the process of deliberate practice. We hope to build a community based on encouragement, kindness, and self-improvement. It is a judgement-free zone.

Admissions Policies

Poets of all stripes are welcome, but the group will be capped at 6 members. You will be expected to supply poetry prompts on a rotating basis. You can make these up, crib from books, or search online.

What we're looking for in members

Commitment and a supportive spirit.

Inactivity Policy

If someone does not participate for several weeks in a row, they will be asked to recommit or leave the group to make room for someone else.
